Classic excursion inside the Mont Avic Park.
The route alternates between a steeper first part and then opens into a beautiful valley.
From the hill a beautiful view of the Monte Rosa chain.
The route is very sunny.
On weekends the Muffé restaurant is normally open and it is possible to stop and eat.

From the car park continue along the car road, just after the second bend a steep rural road begins on the right. Follow it up to the building, immediately after go up directly along the mule track to the last hut where you head left and with a long diagonal you reach the summer path of the Barbustel Refuge.
The path runs alongside the stream on the left and arrives in a basin.
Still following the path, you go left to a pass, now leave the summer path and continue along the winter route.
After a diagonal stretch, you climb steeply to the right to arrive directly near the Muffé refreshment point.
From this point, without an obligatory route, you reach the basin below the Lago Bianco hill where you have to turn right and with a long diagonal reach the Col de la Croix.
From the hill it is possible to easily reach the hill on the left above the Lago Bianco hill.
The return takes place along the same route.
