Champorcher is a small mountain town located in the valley of the same name, located at the mouth of the Val d'Aosta.
The ski area is crowned by the Rosa dei Banchi and extends from Cimetta Rossa (2500 m) to Champorcher (1408 m) from where the Chardonney - Laris cable car departs. The facility takes skiers dedicated to alpine skiing to the 21 km ski area. For beginners, there are 2 school fields served by 2 treadmills, while children can have fun in the Laris Baby Park with snow tubing or on the miniquad track.
The more experienced will find beautiful red slopes such as the Bosco slope, where important foreign national teams (French, Swedish and Spanish) have trained, or black slopes such as the interesting return to the village. The Cimetta Rossa Express four-seater chairlift allows you to reach an altitude of 2500 m from which the view extends over Monte Cervino, Monte Rosa and the Rosa dei Banchi Glacier. The snowpark "The High Five Park" is located at 1999 m above sea level, reachable by chairlifts, and offers 6 kickers divided by difficulty level. The Champorcher ski area is part of the vast Monterosa Ski area.
Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can take advantage of a ring to practice Nordic skiing: the track, called Moulin, winds for 5.2 km between the towns of Chateau and Chardonney. In this uncontaminated environment, some peaks are evocative destinations for ski mountaineering: Cima Rossa, Mount Glacier, Mount Rascias, Cima Rossa, Tete des Hommes and others.
