HI! I am the Black Grouse, but many also know me as the Black Grouse due to the shape of the males' tail. The forest you are entering is my home and you may see traces of my passage, hear my singing or even meet me. During the winter I hide on the ground and if there is enough snow I dig an igloo for myself so as not to suffer from the cold and hide from predators, trying to move little so as not to waste energy. If you want to help me get through the winter it's easy! Just don't make too much noise and follow the snowshoe trail, so I know where you're going and I won't get scared!
